About Discovery

Konecto Discovery helps you find things to do in London that suit who you are, how you want to feel and who you’re going with. It isn’t a ticket shop: every listing links to the venue, organiser or ticket seller, and Konecto never takes payment for anyone else’s event.
How suggestions work
No black box. You answer a short questionnaire (all of it optional), and each answer moves a few simple dials: how sociable you like a night to be, how much you like trying new things, your pace, what you’re into, where you’re based and your budget.
Every listing is described the same way: its category, atmosphere, how social it is, the format, who it’s for, accessibility, when, where and what it costs. A fixed scoring formula compares the two, then adds your mood for today, your filters, and what you save or hide. A few “try something new” and wildcard picks are mixed in on purpose.
That’s why every card can say why it’s there, for example “Small and intimate, like you said” or “Free, within your budget”. Nothing is trained on your data and nothing is guessed beyond what you told us.
Signed out, your answers, saves and hidden events stay on your device. Signed in, they’re kept with your Konecto account so they follow you. Whether your connections can see what you’re interested in is your choice, and off until you switch it on.
Where listings come from
We only use sources that allow it: official APIs and partner feeds, venues’ own feeds, published event data where the site permits it, and events organisers list with us. We store the facts (title, time, place, price, link) and a short summary, and show images only where we have permission. Each listing says where it’s from and how sure we are that it’s current.

Our crawler
Where we read public event pages, we identify ourselves as KonectoDiscoveryBot, obey robots.txt and crawl slowly. Details, IP ranges and how to opt out are on konec.to/bot.
Removal requests
If a listing is wrong, or you run a venue or event and want it removed, tell us and we’ll take it down within 24 hours and stop it coming back. Request a removal.
For organisers
Listing is free. List your event and a person reviews it, usually within two working days.
